On October 14, 2020 CTO Andrzej Zydroń participated at the talk entitled the “New(ish) Applications of AI in content creation and localization. He joined Heather Shoemaker (CEO of Language I/O), Istvan Lengyel (Technology Consultant for Nimdzi Insights and Founder of BeLazy) in a discussion moderated by Chris Raulf (International SEO Expert and Founder of Boulder SEO Marketing) and James Lin (Senior Localization Operation Program Manager at Uber). This online event was hosted by Nimdzi and provided a glimpse into how companies can leverage artificial intelligence in customer support, quality assurance, and project management.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is evolving at breakneck speed, yet, we are still in its early stages. Experts predict that over the next decade, industries such as global content marketing and localization will see dramatic changes as a result of AI technologies. We spoke with Andrzej Zydroń, and he shared his thoughts on the session: “We live in the content-rich world, which evidently puts a lot of strain on localization and QA teams. AI can help by augmenting teams on the most tedious and repetitive tasks so they focus on what’s important. In this discussion, I will take a closer look at how the latest NLP AI technology, specifically Inter-language Vector Space can enhance human effort in the linguistic quality assurance process. By sharing various use cases, attendees will get to know about vector space-enabled functionality, and how it can be applied in the computer-assisted review environment.”
