April events & conferences

XTM International will participate in the most significant conferences of April: CIDM, JABA, JIAMCATT and of course LocWorld30 in Tokyo! Check which one is taking place in your region and meet us in the venue.

The calendar of April events:

April 4-6, 2016 in Reston, Virginia: Content Management Strategies/DITA North America Conference

The Center for Information-Development Management (CIDM) shapes the future of international standards in structured content and reuse capabilities. XTM International is a strong follower of this concept and integrates all this vast knowledge in its products.

Shamus Dermody, XTM International Sales Director, and John Weisgerber, Senior Solutions Architect, will be present at the conference to help you understand how XTM Cloud utilizes structured content to reuse translation, shorten time to market, and reduce localization costs. Shamus & John will also deliver a presentation on the subject of “LQA: Measuring quality in translation” that starts at 4:20 pm, on Tuesday, April 5.

April 6-8, 2016 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal: JABA Translations PARTNER SUMMIT

XTM International is proud to be one of the sponsors of the JABA Translations PARTNER SUMMIT 2016. The warm atmosphere and positive energy that lasts throughout the conference is like no other. It is great to be able to catch up with the latest news in the translation technology, share our experience and build on new and existing relationships.

Grant Blackburn, Business Development Manager from XTM International, will present our company to the visitors and delegates on Thursday, the second day of the event. After the presentation Grant will host a Question & Answer session.

April 13-15, 2016 in Tokyo, Japan: LocWorld30

LocWorld, often referred to as “The marketplace of the language industry”, is one of the most prominent localization events in the world. These three days fully packed with speeches and discussion tables will be a busy time for XTM International that will focus on building trust & presence in the eastern markets.

Robert Willans, the CEO of XTM International, will come in person to the conference to emphasize the importance of this event which is taking place just after our company has opened a new office in Tokyo. He will be accompanied by Shamus Dermody, the Sales Director, and Yumiko Metsugi, the new member of our team, who will be glad to provide you assistance in pre- and post-sales support in Japanese.

April 27-29, 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland: JIAMCATT — International Annual Meeting on Computer-Assisted Translation and Terminology

JIAMCATT is an annually held forum for debate, exchange of expertise and for fostering cooperation that intends to help organizations and national institutions provide access to terminology resources in an electronic form.
Andrzej Zydroń, the CTO, together with Grant Blackburn, the Business Development Manager, will represent XTM International during the conference to provide you assistance, and answer all of your questions.

XTM International is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Tokyo, Japan.
