The rollout of XTM Cloud 13.9 has begun, and this release is all about making localization faster, more intuitive, and more precise. We’ve introduced new features that empower linguists, project managers, and enterprises to achieve better results with less effort.

Workflow Editor Updates: More Control, Less Effort

Building on XTM Cloud 13.7, the updated Workflow Editor allows project managers to filter by workflow step, making it simple to focus on unfinished projects. You can now perform bulk actions like assigning jobs and setting due dates across multiple tasks with just a few clicks. Additionally, you can instantly view and manage files across multiple languages, dramatically reducing the number of clicks and improving overall efficiency.

This update gives project managers greater control over workflows, streamlining complex tasks and speeding up project management.

PPT Visual Mode in Workbench: In-Context Translations

Linguists can now align translations more easily with slide designs in PowerPoint using PPT Visual Mode in Workbench. This feature shows how translations fit within the layout of the slides, ensuring concise, well-fitted text that respects the design’s integrity.

For linguists working on materials where design precision is key, this feature minimizes the risk of rework and ensures client satisfaction by delivering design-ready translations from the start.

API Updates: Terminology and Translation Memory

API updates now enable seamless import and export of terminology, allowing you to easily integrate glossaries across multiple platforms. This is especially useful for industries like healthcare, legal, finance, and manufacturing, where terminology consistency and compliance are critical.

You can now also import translation memory (TM) from external sources, making it easier to manage and synchronize TM data across systems. This feature is ideal for teams migrating to XTM.

Beta – New Rate Cards: Simplified, User-Friendly Pricing

Managing rates has never been simpler in XTM Cloud with the redesigned rate card system, now available in beta. This intuitive update reduces the number of clicks and makes it easy to configure pricing by language or subject matter. Built-in validation helps prevent mistakes, giving you confidence in your pricing setup.

For project managers and localization teams, this feature streamlines rate management, saving time and reducing the likelihood of errors.
