XTM International is pleased to announce the release of XTM v9.6. The new version of the award-winning Translation Management System (TMS) with integrated Computer Aided Translation (CAT) tool, provides dramatic improvements and enhancements to the user experience.
The new version of XTM supports XLIFF 2.0 — the new industry standard for translation files that offers far greater stability and functionality. Additionally, XTM v9.6 has improved processing of Photoshop source files.
Project managers have gained better control of continuous projects and the process of subcontracting has been enhanced. They can now generate a preview Excel file with translations for filtered segments for all languages of a project, manage language codes in file names, and it is easier for them to estimate costs for new linguists who have not fully configured their rate cards.
The redesigned XTM concordance feature will help translators reach higher productivity levels, while pictures uploaded to specific segments, provide linguists with more context to ensure the best translation quality.
Other important enhancements include XTM Suite compatibility with the SAP HANA database, an option to take Microsoft Word comments for translation, automatic extraction of nested zip archives as well as general XTM Align, Terminology and security improvements.
