XTM Mobile 2.1 released
We are pleased to announce that the new version of XTM Mobile has been released. This new release introduces a number of enhancements that will make mobile translation management more flexible and user-friendly. With the new mobile app, project managers and linguists will be able to deal with last-minute project updates more efficiently and work in a more agile way.
Move the workflow forward or backward
Project requirements are always on the move, sometimes you need to go backward to progress. When a linguist needs to resume work on a task that has already been finished, how can you manage that? In this release of XTM Mobile, the localization manager can reopen the job at the required workflow step from within the app, the linguists can then take the actions required and then can continue to project completion. Workflow steps can also be closed to move things on and the workflow can also be set as completed.
More flexibility with advanced features to hand
Users asked us for greater flexibility while managing projects on their mobile devices. They wanted to be able to delete projects and update project information from the mobile app. Both options are now available in XTM Mobile 2.1. XTM Mobile users can now choose to delete a project along with its translation memory or delete a project and keep its translation memory. The latter can be useful in cases where users would like to reuse previous translations for upcoming projects. Users can also update project details, such as project name, payment status, due date, and reference files directly from XTM Mobile.
