Accountant/GL Accountant

Your main tasks will be:

• You will be responsible for month end closing procedures for our UK, US and Poland based entities – monitoring compliance with standards, budget and making sure that we meet our deadlines
• Monthly consolidation of financial results and management reporting pack

On a day-to-day basis, you will be engaged into:

• Review and postings of accruals and provisions, prepaid expenses, PPE and intangible assets
• Support and back up to the other finance team members
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Intercompany balances reconciliation
• Transfer pricing calculations
• Commissions calculations
• UK VAT and US Sales tax

You will also be involved in:

• Statutory and group accounts preparation
• Aiding with processes and controls improvement – preparation of instructions, work on systems and reports development
• Forecast/budget planning

• You have a degree in Finance or Accounting and experience with IFRS/US GAAP
• You speak English well (B2/C1) as it is essential for our multicultural and multilanguage team
• You have relevant experience in general ledger accounting in a multi-company and multi-currency environment
• You have hands on month end closing and balance sheet reconciliations experience
• Advanced MS Office user (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• ERP systems user
• US Sales Tax and US Companies’ experience – nice to have
