VP of Enterprise Expansion Sales

XTM is seeking a self-motivated, energetic VP of Enterprise Expansion Sales to lead a new sales team focused on growing our existing customer partnerships by implementing an Enterprise, Executive-level account growth strategy. This position is a player-coach role who will oversee a team of 2 Enterprise Account Executives focused on growing our top clients partnerships. The Head of Enterprise Sales will be responsible for managing the relationship, client strategy, growth strategy, engagement plan, and overall value delivered to a set of named major accounts which include some of the largest brands in the world. The VP of Enterprise Expansion Sales is the client-facing leader who will be responsible for creating the client strategy to determine how to best align XTM’s solution to help multi-national clients achieve their global initiatives and implement solution sales strategic across team.

The VP of Enterprise Expansion Sales  will be responsible for developing C-level partnerships by generating a growth strategy at each organization including creating an account penetration plan focused on value demonstration and delivery to align with all Enterprise client’s critical business objectives. The role is focused on enterprise-wide engagement to ensure client growth by embedding XTM’s solution into our client’s business process. The VP of Enterprise Sales will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will interact with other Sales Managers and other cross-functional team members to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, scale the team, and establish operational excellence for XTM’s Enterprise strategy.

Your responsibilities:

  • Grow recurring revenue by finding new buying centers and elevating the conversation to C-Level executives at our top customers
  • Coordinate the preparation of quotations, RFIs, RFP, or other tender documents
  • Research the market, build relationships with key decision-makers, and energetically lead pro-active outreach campaigns to build pipelines and penetrate deeper within Enterprise Accounts
  • Lead from the front as a high-performance salesperson, achieve and own a personal sales target
  • Motivate and facilitate your team to reach the collective team growth target. Act as a consultant to salespeople and provide helpful advice on coping with job-related challenges
  • Hire and retain strong self-driven strategic sellers. On-board, train, and foster long-term career development with employees
  • Build and maintain institutional relationships with XTM’s enterprise accounts through a consultative sales process
  • Manage the diagnosis of client business needs, on an individual client and industry segment level, and lead the creation of annual service strategies to deliver tailored service and value to executives in a timely manner
  • Create customized account plans for each institution, outlining service delivery and growth strategies for existing and potential relationships
  • Lead strategic negotiation during contractual discussions
  • Discuss cutting-edge strategic initiatives with an executive-level audience within each client
  • Understand the changing business terrain that clients face
  • Partners with the team to build and execute upon long-term client engagement strategy
  • Partners with the Executive Team to bring new product development, client engagement, and competitive intelligence strategies to the larger team
  • Navigate XTM’s solution on behalf of the client, ensuring the appropriate solution is provided to meet a client’s problems
  • Educate clients on the benefits of XTM’s solution through articulation of XTM’s value proposition
  • Utilize existing client relationships to navigate within an institution and generate/contact growth leads

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 7+ years B2B sales experience; with at least 2 years in a management role & a proven ability to identify and develop Executive partnerships by building/maintaining relationships with decision-makers
  • Experience in selling services, enterprise or translation/localization a plus
  • Demonstrated record of success at selling into large, complex organizations
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability and executive poise to interface at all levels of management
  • Entrepreneur attitude and approach to managing a business portfolio
  • A high level of self-motivation and capability of working remotely
  • Confidence to assume a Player-Coach role, leading from the front as a high-performance salesperson
  • A track record of implementing sales practices and building successful sales teams
  • Ability and flexibility to travel to customer locations, when necessary
  • Ability to inspire trust and confidence to coach and develop team
  • High degree of comfort with technology and use of SaaS-platforms
  • Proven track record of developing industry relationships with clients and peers, vendors and business partners
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills at all levels
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
