XTM International release XTM Portal v12.0

London, 29th August 2019 — XTM International have released a new version of XTM Portal, an optional module that enables users to simply submit translation requests, approve costs and download target files. XTM Portal v12.0 delivers several important enhancements for enterprises, including the use of project templates from within the app, improved cost estimates, and a brand-new project listing page.

Robust automation

The new release allows project managers to use project templates and custom fields directly within XTM Portal. Once pre-configured in XTM, they can be used to automate the creation of projects as all the required settings can be entered with just one click of a button. XTM Portal users have the freedom to choose whether to apply templates and custom fields.

Accurate cost estimates

The new release enables users to calculate the direct cost of translating a project. In addition to proposals, estimating costs are now more precise as they are based on the linguists’ rate cards. In case no linguist has been assigned to the workflow, a dummy rate card can be applied.

New project listing page

The new XTM Portal project listing page provides users with up-to-date information about the status of projects. It refreshes automatically every 20 seconds, so users can download translations as soon as they are completed.
