XTM Cloud v12.1 for enhanced translation productivity
London, October 8, 2019 — XTM International has released XTM Cloud v12.1, the latest version of its enterprise-class translation management system. The new release brings a number of improvements to XTM Workbench, advanced project management, greater connectivity and improvements to the XTM Mobile app, ensuring that it remains the translation management system of choice for enterprises.
Secure backup for translation
XTM v12.1 provides users with backup options for translated segments. Users can now restore segments from both the segment history stored on the server and a local backup in the browser cache.
XTM Workbench: increasingly productive translation workspace
The option to perform a batch update the status of filtered and unfiltered segments has been introduced to minimize manual work. Thanks to the new undo and redo shortcuts, reverting changes to text is now much quicker. Lastly, users can add hyperlinks to the target text column in XTM Workbench.

Extended reporting capabilities
The new version of XTM allows project managers and subcontractors to generate a single LQA report for multiple projects to get a thorough view of their vendors’ performance. A new type of report giving a breakdown of words, time and costs per user, language, and task has been introduced to obtain more detailed insights into projects. A further enhancement to project management includes adding a cost approver role to the XTM Mobile app. As a result, project managers can run a filter on projects that need to be approved.
This update enables users to connect their instance of XTM to SDL BeGlobal machine translation. In addition, there are two brand new connectors for web content management systems: Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Demandware and Oracle Eloqua. Also, XTM v12.1 is now fully compatible with Adobe Experience Manager 6.5. Improvements to the REST API and the Sitecore connector bring significant advances to the connectivity of XTM with third party applications.
