XTM Portal 20.4: flexible, secure, customizable
XTM International is delighted to announce that the new version of XTM Portal has just been released. XTM Portal is an online client platform that automates the process of submitting translation requests between stakeholders, all within an intuitive, customizable user interface. Complete integration with XTM Cloud provides enterprise and LSP stakeholders with a one-stop solution for requesting translation services, receiving price quotes, paying for translations, and downloading translated files.
In XTM Portal 20.4, we have responded to users’ requests with increased flexibility for project submission, enhanced overall user experience, and improved security.

Introducing multiple customers to XTM Portal
The new Portal 20.4 release enables Portal administrators to set up either a default customer or multiple customers which will be displayed in the user interface. This will give Portal users the flexibility to choose under which customer their requests will be created.
Simplified user management
Submitting projects and managing users between XTM Portal and XTM Cloud is now more user friendly. In the new version, requesters are no longer automatically assigned to a Customer Project Manager (CPM) in XTM Cloud, they become project creators instead. This way, the configuration of XTM Portal is faster, simpler and more user-friendly.
More accurate PM auto-assignment
With XTM Portal 20.4, Project Managers can be automatically assigned to projects according to the preference specified in the XTM Customer settings.
Moreover, enhanced security has been added during project submission for users of the standard request translation page.
User Interface language customization
The new version of XTM Portal enables users to set their preferred language for the user interface. They can choose from the following language options: English (UK), English (US), Japanese, Polish, Turkish and German. When users log out of their instance of XTM Portal, their language preference settings are auto-saved.
